The Global Information Project, theGIP

This Site

As you can see, this site is under construction, but will open as soon as we have set up the network of computers needed to run theGIP.

Goals of theGIP

The first goal of theGIP is to show that a database is much safer from hacker and terror attacks if the documents are stored in a MUNAX search engine database distributed over the internet, than when storing the documents in a database where all computers are located in the same room.

The second goal of theGIP is to sample and index every document and object link on the world wide web. Because of theGIP MUNAX system being distributed over the internet, the sampling speed of that search engine will outperform any other search engine. This, because the bandwidth utilization = the sum of the bandwidths of all computers in the system.

How ?

theGIP will use thousands of computers and these computers should be located on as many different locations as possible. For this, we need your help and the processing time and resources of your computer.

To join theGIP is easy. You just fill out a form and click submit to become an applicant.
